This policy explains what personal data CustoMixtape (customixtape.com) collects when you visit our website or place an order, why we collect it, and what rights you have. CustoMixtape is based in Barcelona, Spain, and processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect
- Order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address, and the products you buy.
- Personalisation content: the playlist links, song lists, mixtape names, messages and photos you send us to create your product.
- Gift reminder (optional): the occasion and date you choose to share, only if you tick the reminder box at checkout.
- Messages: anything you send us through our contact forms, email or WhatsApp.
- Website usage: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected through cookies and Google Analytics.
We do not collect or store your card details. Payments are handled directly by Stripe or PayPal.
Why we use your data
- To make, ship and support your order (necessary to perform our contract with you).
- To send you order and shipping updates (contract).
- To send you a reminder before your chosen occasion next year and occasional gift ideas, only if you opted in (consent). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
- To answer your questions (legitimate interest).
- To understand how our website is used and improve it (legitimate interest / consent for analytics cookies).
- To keep accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
Who we share it with
We only share your data with service providers that help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- Hostinger (website hosting and email delivery)
- Stripe and PayPal (payment processing)
- Our production and shipping partners, including Kunaki for orders shipped from the United States, who receive your shipping address and the content needed to make your product
- Postal and courier services (delivery)
- Google (Google Analytics, website statistics)
Some of these providers are located outside the European Economic Area, mainly in the United States. In those cases, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for six years, as required by Spanish tax and commercial law. Personalisation content (playlists, photos, messages) is deleted once your order is completed and the period for reporting a problem has ended, unless you ask us to keep it for a repeat order. Gift reminder data is kept until you unsubscribe. Messages are kept as long as needed to resolve your request.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies that are necessary for the shop to work (for example, to remember your cart) and analytics cookies from Google Analytics to measure visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, or to withdraw your consent at any time. Email info@customixtape.com and we will reply within one month. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local data protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
